What age are Hluma kits for?

Hluma kits are designed for children aged 3 and up. They contain small themed pieces, so they aren't suitable for children under 3 or for unsupervised play with little ones who still put things in their mouths.

What's inside a kit?

Every kit comes in a reusable jar packed with a generous portion of handmade playdough, themed characters and pieces, and simple play prompts — everything a child needs to dive straight into that kit's world. No assembly, and nothing extra to buy.

Is the playdough safe?

Yes. Our dough is handmade in small batches from simple, non-toxic ingredients and is taste-safe — though it's made for play, not snacking! As with all creative play, we recommend an adult keeps an eye on little ones.

How long does the dough last?

Kept in its sealed jar between play sessions, the dough stays soft for a long time. If it ever dries out slightly, a drop of water and a good squish brings it right back to life.

How much is delivery, and how long does it take?

We deliver nationwide across South Africa, usually within 2–5 working days. Delivery is a flat R120 — and it's free on orders over R500.

Do you do party favours or bulk orders?

Absolutely — Hluma kits make a party favour kids actually remember, and we're happy to help with larger orders for parties, schools and events. Get in touch through our Contact page and we'll sort you out.
